E - Terme di Caracalla
The Termae Anthoninianae, also known as the Baths of Caracalla, are some of the best preserved imperial building of the ancient times. They were built in the southern part of Rome under emperor Caracalla, who opened them in AD 216.
The rectangular map is typical of the “Big Imperial Baths”. They were used not only for baths and sport, but also for study.
